No More Running

https://chellebcom2.wordpress.com/2024/05/12/todays-prompt-running/

What a relief, to stop running

Leave all the dead ends behind

Quit looking for Light in darkness…

“Be still, and know that I am God”*

Some people say He waits

For us to finally find Him…

I know He chases after those

He’s set apart, sealed as His own–

Stronger than movie super-heroes

He doesn’t get tired, can run

Down miles as long as it takes

To ambush (with love), wash us

Clean, cover our every mistake

He never breaks a sweat

Nor needs to catch His breath–

When I turned around to see just

Whose footsteps followed close

He scooped me up, held me

Hard against His heart…

No more running

I’m resting in Him

All Means ALL

https://chellebcom2.wordpress.com/2024/05/11/todays-prompt-all-2/  “ALL”

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinth 9:8, NIV

Phil 4:19, ESV, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

I am beyond glad and grateful that God’s Word says “ALL” quite often!  All means ALL–not “a little”, “a few”, or “some”.  When it comes to how He blesses and supplies for our needs, HE SAYS “ALL”!

Can I get a “Hallelujah”?!  AMEN!!

Sunday Blessing

Aaron’s Benediction, Deut 6:22-27, AMP

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the Israelites. Say to them:

The LORD bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you];

The LORD make His face shine upon you [with favor],

And be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness];

The LORD lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval],

And give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].’

So Aaron and his sons shall put My name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”

We’re All Characters

https://jimadamsauthordotcom.wordpress.com/2024/05/09/thursday-inspiration-227-nobody-but-me/

I once thought it true

That nobody but me could

Be such a dullard

In so many areas

Of this life we live briefly…

It’s not factual

Thrilling relief, not alone!

We’re all characters

On broadest gifted spectrum

Geniuses, dolts, eccentrics

What a tapestry–

Colored skeins divinely weaved

None superior

In our wise Creator’s eyes

We’re all touched with His glory

Let There Be Bubbles

“Let there be bubbles”

She was an exquisite child

Full of fun and faith

Wise beyond her years, trusted

God is good above all else

Every night she prayed

For family, friends, lone strangers

And for herself, just one thing:

“Let there be bubbles

In heaven for Your children”

God must have answered

He carried her to His home

Beatific smile on her face

~

If you’re unsure He’s

Good, the happy God* who cares

Ask Him for bubbles…

He’ll know what it means to you

The dream that breathes in your heart
